It normally hosts all e-activities of all partner and stakeholder institutions on one common Learning Management System (LMS).
What is the purpose of an e-Learning Center?
An eLearning Cenre will:
- Offer advice to it's stakeholders
- Provide the facilities and opportunities to develop and guide the implementation of the e-learning agenda of the sectors they serve
- Review eLearning best practices worldwide and formulate policy guidelines for networks and partnership structures
- Develop mechanisms for ensuring quality, equity, relevance, transparency, and accountability.
What are the benefits of an e-Learning Center?
An elearning center plays the following roles:
- Acts as a single entity serving as a hub for coordination and development
- Capacity building of tutors, educators and trainers to develop, deliver and customize content.
- Quality assured and industry-approved skills training and capacity development programmes for professionals and stakeholders in the e-learning field
- Provides specialised and dedicated staff to deliver and coordinate training.
